While I read The Last Song a lot of different emotions affect me. Right now I am angry at Will’s mom because she is blaming every thing on Ronnie when she didn’t even do anything. Marcus showed up at Wills sisters wedding, and ruined everything. Will just wanted Marcus to leave, and Marcus didn’t. So Will and him ended up getting in a fight knocking down the pegs and ropes from the tent which all the guests were under. People were screaming as the tent began to collapse, and before anyone noticed Marcus was gone. Instantly Wills mom blamed everything on Ronnie because she never saw Marcus. She didn’t believe Will when he said it was Marcus since the security would never let him in. So she blamed everything on Ronnie and told Will that she would never be good enough for him since she was “low class”. Wills mom is so judgmental it makes me mad! She wants him to break up with Ronnie because he had his whole future ahead of him and the last thing he needed was someone like her. I dislike the way she is so controlling of him; it should be his choice who he loves not hers. She is just too worried about herself and how it’s going to make their family look bad and doesn’t care how Will feels which isn’t fair I think. I guess life isn’t always fair but still I think she should be a little nicer to Ronnie because she has feelings too!
